A Blog is Born

Hi! We are J and M, a young couple living in the Midwest and looking to document our adventures. The concept for this blog was decades in the making. As it turns out, both M and I came from families that had review systems for vacations, big events, weekends, etc. as we were growing up. When we started dating, we fell naturally into recapping our dates and adventures and almost everything else in our lives in the same way. Pretty soon we were categorizing our vacations in real time, sorting different events, experiences, and situations onto a running duds list or it’s much happier twin, the studs list. When we would tell our friends or families about our adventures, we found that we were most often pulling from these lists for recommendations or funny anecdotes. After two years of dating, and countless submissions to the studs and duds lists from the life changing to the mundane, we figured it was time to formalize our review system, and a blog was born – this one!
